Deano’s Jalapeno Chips

Not potato chips with jalapeno flavoring—these are literally chips made from deep-fried, thin-sliced jalapeno peppers, which are then seasoned with cheddar cheese!  If you like hot foods, you’ll LOVE this spicy treat, 1st Place winner of the 2010 Scovie Awards in the Unique Snack Food category.  They’re great right out of the bag (be careful—the heat sneaks up on you!), but equally terrific sprinkled over chili, rolled up in a burrito, or topping macaroni and cheese or a baked potato.  You’ll find a lot of different ways to enjoy this snack, and they also make a great gift for all the hot-heads in your life!  They’re made in Stowe, Vermont too—a hot Vermont town.
