Cottage Hill Farms English Cream Tea Scones

There are a ton of baking mixes in the world, each with their relative merits, so you know a line has got to be pretty good if we want to feature it on our own little website. We'd love to introduce you to Cottage Hill Farm, and La Verne Lesznik, of Pittsford, Vermont. La Verne makes her mixes with only certified organic ingredients, and they are pretty much the best we've ever tried. Her Scone Mix turns out light, biscuit-like scones, which have just enough sweetness on their own, but remain neutral enough to be the ideal vehicle for some devon double cream and thick preserves or lemon curd.
