When I'm faced with ravenous hunger—you know—the kind of hunger where you can't feed yourself fast enough, I reach for a great piece of bread slathered with fresh creamery butter.

But a piece of bread, while exceptional in it's own right, can be elevated to an epicurean snack with one simple additional task: toasting it. And toast reaches its final pinnacle when it's all "dressed up" with your favorite spread. Just like your little black dress, no matter how good the bread or fresh the butter, it's nice to accessorize!

Named after one of our favorite breakfast spots in the world (in Portsmouth, NH). We hope it's ok that we used the name. When you are going through Portsmouth, it's a must see landmark.
