VERMONT CHEESE SAMPLER GIFT BOXES

Large Sampler:
The Large Sampler contains five cheeses, approximately half pound each, thoughtfully displayed in an attractive WFM gift box. We feature two cheeses from Jasper Hill Farm of Greensboro, Vermont. Bayley Hazen Blue is earthy and rich with excellent balance, while Constant Bliss with its bloomy rind is a Chaource style cheese - rich and creamy. Then there’s Tarentaise from Thistle Hill Farm of Pomfret Vermont. A deliciously firm, alpine style cheese. Farmstead Tarentaise has won award after award! You will also receive award winning classic Grafton Village 2 Year Cheddar from Grafton Vermont. Just the right bite, aged 2 years for a perfect sharpness without going overboard. Finally, Vermont Breezy Ayr is a buttery, rich Gouda style cheese, with a delicious nutty flavor.
Mini Sampler:
Our mini sampler includes three great half pound wedges of Vermont artisan cheese, thoughtfully displayed in an attractive WFM gift box. Ascutney Mountain Cheese (named after a breathtaking local peak), made in Hartland, Vermont, is an alpine-style cheese with a complex, nutty flavor. It was awarded a blue ribbon in 2006 by the American Cheese Society in the Farmstead Cheese category, which means that all the milk comes from their own farm.
Aged from four to six months, raw Jersey milk “Pawlet” cheese is buttery with a balanced finish. Everyone loves this cheese. On its own, it makes a great melted cheese sandwich or tasty snack with your favorite crackers and a wedge of pear. La Luna cheese has a smooth, semi-firm ivory paste and tastes milky and herbal with the scent of fresh grass. Produced on Blue Ledge Farm in Salisbury, Vermont, La Luna is an outstanding raw goat’s milk, gouda style cheese.
