Vermont Grill and Marinade Box

Gas or charcoal—you could debate the particulars as to which is best forever—grilling is clearly an American pastime. I’m not sure if it’s the connection to fire and our caveman days or what, but it’s as much a part of our summer food landscape as turkey is at Thanksgiving and ham at Easter.

We sell a ton of marinades in our store, and we’ve included a few of our favorites here at WFM.com in a fantastic gift box.  Not only are they all great—they all happen to be made in Vermont!  You may not associate Vermont with barbecue, but if you take into account that our grilling season is the same length as our growing season, which is only about 4 months long, you’ll understand that we are driven and passionate when it comes to cooking outdoors!

Clark’s is a rosemary and maple based marinade perfect for pork. It’s thick, rich, slightly sweet and has a nice spicy finish.  Judy’s Java Lava is totally unique.  It’s made with espresso, ketchup and molasses…it’s one of our new top sellers!  Curtis’s is spicy and vinegary—typical of a Carolina BBQ; Gormley’s is sweet, smoky and great on salmon; and Vermont Hills is unbelievable on anything…chicken, pork, seafood and veggies.
