Joni's Homemade Jams

Want a truly local, handmade Vermont product?  Joe and Joni Lloyd at Mustard Seed Farm in Hartland (right down the road) make incredible jams from locally grown fruits whenever possible (pomegranates just won’t grow in Vermont…)  Every season they purchase local fruits like strawberries, blueberries and blackberries and then Joni (at the ripe young age of seventy five) goes to town cranking out various seasonal jams and jellies.

You’ll find them every Saturday at the outdoor farmers’ market in Norwich where folks line up from all over for their wide array of jams and condiments. All—and mark my words—all are truly outstanding…huge on flavor, low on pectin. The ingredients are simple:  fruit, sugar, pectin. That’s it.  While I admit to being a toast and breakfast fanatic, this jam honestly makes me excited almost every morning for my AM wake up call:  whole grain toast, slathered with local butter, and topped with Joni’s strawberry jam.  

This is truly a small batch, local, family operation and we are pleased to be the only retailer in the Upper Valley to offer you this fantastic product.
