Kicking Horse Coffee

What's cool about Kicking Horse is that it's both "fair trade" and "certified organic" and it's good. You hear a lot about Fair Trade—it's a great organization that helps farmers with many things like fair pricing, fair labor conditions, direct trade practices, and environmental sustainability among others. The point is that often fair trade coffees taste better too. And Kicking Horse is no exception. In the past, we've actually tried to discontinue Kicking Horse because, due to distribution issues, it's really hard for us to get it here in the "Republic of Vermont." Besides, I used to argue with our customers…wouldn't you want me to carry a more locally roasted coffee?

Yet time and time again, the resounding answer was NO! WE WANT KICKING HORSE!!

OK. OK. We now hear everyone. We will never, ever run out of Kicking Horse. And, indeed, Kicking Horse is fantastic coffee. Kick Ass—a dark roasted, fantastic morning coffee is our top seller. Three Sisters another top seller is a mellower cousin for more all day drinking. And their decaf—wow—it's like drinking the high test, sans the buzz. If I were blind folded, I swear I could not tell the difference, except for the lack of jitters and my great night's sleep.
