Kusmi Tea

Kusmi Tea

Kusmi Tea Company started in Russia in 1867. They were the original purveyors to the Tzars until the Russian Revolution, and re-established themselves in France in 1920. Long famous for their delicate blends, Kusmi is the only firm still offering original Russian blends from the last century, gorgeous to look at in their original pre-Bolshevik Revolution packaging. All of the scents used to flavor the teas come from Grasse, the famous French flower center, and each cup overflows with delicious aromas.

Believe it or not, we just started offering this tea at the Market and the response has been fantastic. We kept seeing Kusmi at food shows and at stores like ourselves and then tried it one day. Wow…was I blown away. As bagged tea, it's superior to most anything I've tried.

We carry these fine teas bagged, because they are of such high quality and are so affordable this way. Their bags are actually made of muslin, which allows the teas to steep almost as though they were loose in the pot!
