I worship these. They're like the very best version of that guilty pleasure made by Durkee and sprinkled over the green bean cassaroles of America. Imported from Holland, believe it or not, and made with only onions, vegetable oil and salt, they're amazing over salads, baked potatoes, hamburgers, grilled fish, mac and cheese, or baked into bread. Or you can just snack on them out of the container, like I'm doing right now.
When we first brought Lars Crispy Onions into the store, we displayed them next to our fresh green beans, and shoppers went crazy. We sold out in about 2 days. So now that's where we display them all the time.
P.S.: Patrick told me I should provide a recipe using Lars Crispy Onions so people would know how to use them (his childhood was sadly or mercifully lacking in green bean casseroles). So here's your recipe: Open the container. Sprinkle onions liberally on anything you're eating (with the possible exception of cereal). Enjoy.
