Side Hill Farm Maple Apple Drizzle
Holy cow! Vermont Macintosh apples and Vermont maple syrup are combined with spices to create this outstanding fruit topping for ice cream, yogurt, pancakes and waffles, roast pork and ham, or baked winter squash. This is one of the most well-rounded condiments we sell. It’s also one of our best kept secrets because it seems to sell the best only during foliage season.
So the name begs the question: What in the world to I do with “Drizzle”? First of all, there is nothing wrong with a spoon and the jar itself. But after that, my favorite serving suggestion is for breakfast: Cottage Hill pancakes with a couple of dollops of “drizzle” and plenty of Vermont maple syrup. It makes a mighty fine Sunday morning meal. And another great suggestion: a dollop or two on your favorite vanilla yogurt after dinner makes an easy, tasty and low fat dessert!
THANKSGIVING TIP: Try spooning some "Drizzle" on acorn squash--or my favorite, delacota squash! Makes an outstanding addition to a great meal!
