O Olive Oil-Blood Orange EVOO

Olive oil purists: get over it.  Infused with fresh blood oranges, this outstanding Extra Virgin Olive Oil from O Olive Oil is incredible.  So much so, I’ve switched my salad and veggie olive oil patterns and have gone over to using “O Blood Orange” on almost everything.  Drizzle on beets, fresh greens, tomatoes, grilled salmon…you name it, the oil stands up in many circumstances that I would have thought otherwise.  

Handpicked California mission olives are crushed together with fresh organic blood oranges and then filtered.  It’s  not sweet, mind you. The citrus aroma and flavor is not meek but not overwhelming.  I’ve tried many of the European counterparts and this ranks right up there; the folks at O have got the blending of olive oils with other fruits and vegetables (like their jalapeno organic extra virgin olive oil) down to an amazing science.  Great job.
