From the beginning of our ecommerce idea, we wanted to sell you our favorite foods, but we wanted to tell you more: where the products were from, who makes them and how they taste. After all, if you were to come into the Farmers' Market, that's what you'd get: all sorts of great stories about where our food comes from and why we sell it. We are all about the why's and where's. We care about who makes our food and the ingredients they put into them.

So we gathered some of the all-stars from a long list of favorites and describe how they taste and why we like them...plus we've provided you with plenty of freebees--recipes that we often have used both at home and here in our kitchen. Have fun.

Galumpia Salad Dressing

I am capable of eating my weight in salad every day, especially during the summer when  fresh local arugula and tomatoes are in season.  For my favorite quick dinner I’ll dress the greens in Galumpia, then finish the salad with a sprinkle of shredded parmesan.  I have loved Galumpia since I first tasted it 16 years ago, and it is the one item I always have in my fridge!
