TCHO Dark Chocolate "Chocolatey"

All chocolate is good. Right?  I mean…how can you NOT like chocolate?  The problem is that not all chocolate is created equal and the poor chocolate market has been diluted, misrepresented and stretched way too thin. With the amount of chocolate in the market place these days, how does a company truly differentiate themselves?

TCHO has done it in several ways.  First, they are serious, serious chocolate hounds. They started several years ago with one mission—to make great chocolate and they spent a year Beta testing their chocolate (who does THAT in the chocolate business?)…that is handing out sample after sample, listening to comments and tweaking the formula over 1,000 times.  

Then they sourced the beans, traveling to wherever they could find the best beans—Ghana, Madagascar or Peru—then more testing, roast testing, sugar testing, large batch testing.  You get the idea.  The bottom line is that these guys are off the wall serious about chocolate and did all the right things before bringing this idea of the perfect chocolate bar to marketplace.

So back to the real issue—taste.  Simply put and I’ll let you be the judge, it’s the best damn chocolate I have ever eaten…and trust me…being in the food business over 17 years, I’ve had my fair share of chocolate. (Plus for those who know me around the store, some may even say I have a little chocolate “problem.”)
