Wooodstock Granola and Trail Mix

We've been carrying this fantastic granola ever since Chef Renee Howe--formerly of Woodstock Farmers' Market fame, started making it on the side while working for us.

And while we could choose among hundreds of granolas for our online store, we've decided on Woodstock Granola for one specific reason--it's truly the best out there. Renee starts with great ingredients: Cranberry Maple is sweetened just right for the morning--with pure maple syurp and dried cherries. Add the oats, sunflower seeds, walnuts, nutmeg and cinnamon, you get a simple, nutruitous and full flavored breakfast or snack.

Monhegan Berry is my personal favorite--with dried wild blueberries, cranberries and a touch of honey leading the way, it's the almonds, cinnamon and touch of cardamom that make it a home run for me. When was the last time you had a granola with cardamom? It's absolutely stunning.

What's also great about this granola is the fact that Renee's ingredients are so simple and combinations so perfect that eating it by the handful is a must. And frankly, there have been several times I've munched down a half a bag in the afternoon when I need that PM pick me up!

Monhegan Berry Blend: Ingredients: whole grain oats, honey, canola oil, dried wild blueberries, dried cranberries, sliced almonds, cinnamon and cardamom.

Maple Vanilla Almond: Ingredients: whole grain oats, almonds, maple syrup, canola oil, oat bran, flax meal and vanilla.

Cranberry Maple Walnut: Ingredients: whole grain oats, Vermont maple syrup, dried cranberries, canola oil, raisins, walnuts, sunflower seeds, cinnamon and nutmeg.

Farmhouse Blend:  Rolled oats, honey, raisins, walnuts, dates, apricots, cinnamon, cardamom.

Cherry Ginger Almond: Rolled oats, honey, cherries, apricots, ginger, almonds, sunflower seeds, cinnamon and cardamom.
